About the Event
Walk, run, or hop for our 2nd Annual Run for the Buns Virtual 5K 2021! Wherever you are, complete a total of 5 kilometers (3.1 miles) by walking, biking, hiking, or any other method of movement throughout the month of October to help us raise money for shelter rabbits.
Run a mile one weekend, hike a mile another weekend, and walk a mile on your treadmill a third weekend; or, do it all at once. There is no right or wrong way to do this! Sign up for just $25 and purchase your race merch here.
Awards are given for several categories: best 5K buddy, farthest away, best dressed, and best social media post. New for this year - ask your friends and family to sponsor your walk/run/hop with this downloadable sheet here. Submit your pledged funds by November 5 via PayPal (preferred) or check by November 5th. The person who raises the most money will win their choice of an HRN logo shirt, mug, or tote bag!
